FAMILY TIES
Teleplay by David Kemper & Rockne S O'Bannon
Directed by Tony Tilse

REVIEW
Now get out of that! Crichton and D'Argo are floating in space, Aeryn is hoping not to get shot by Peacekeeper fighters, and Crais has stolen Moya's child. True, Moya has starburst to freedom but she could come out anywhere and will not be able to find her way back.

Well, she will. You know she will. But it isn't going to happen until the next series, for this was the big finish to Farscape's first season. (Though don't worry, BBC2 is going straight into the second season from next Monday.)

As a big finish, though, this episode had to both give some conclusion to what we've seen and to point the way to what is coming. Farscape works well with a bit of pressure on it, so this episode was fair bursting with good ideas.

They just didn't all work.

Although you couldn't quite predict which way the plot would turn, and you were definitely glued to finding out, too many of the pressures were contrived and unusually - there were just too many plot holes.

back to ploton to did you notice?
