Family Ties
Teleplay by David Kemper & Rockne S O'Bannon
Directed by Tony Tilse

PLOT
Scorpius and Crais wait outside the asteroid field, probing for the location of Moya in it. They're prepared to wait as long as necessary, for Crichton has become a prize for both of them. Enough of a prize that Rygel realises he can bargain for his own escape by selling out Crichton and all the others.

While he flies out of the field to join the Peacekeeper Command Cruiser, Crichton and the others have to work out how to stop him. But Rygel has underestimated Scorpius and he may be underestimating Crais, too. For Crais is willing to help Rygel, he just wants one particular thing in return.

Meanwhile, Crichton and the crew are working on a series of ideas to help them get out of their predicament. None of them seems workable, especially as Moya's child is not old enough to starburst away and must be protected. Crichton has to face up to the fact that this is likely to be his last day on Moya even if he can think of a way to get her to safety.
