Dogs love them, you can play with them on the beach, in the park, when it's raining, when it's sunny, in the office, at home, when you are driving.. OK maybe that's going to far - but you can do thousands of things with a Frisbee!

Although many people claim to have invented the Frisbee, the consensus is that it was developed from a pie container in the US in the 19th century.

The Frisbee craze in the UK took off in 1967 with people skimming the UFO looking object left, right and centre. Decapitation, was a mere flick of the wrist away.

Those in the Frisbee mental set go to great lengths to try out their craft, including climbing the 20,340 foot summit of Imja Tse near Mount Everest, where the highest altitude chest roll was carried out.
