DB Woodside is joining the cast of 24 for its third season. Warning! 24 fans may find the following information spoilery.

DB Woodside, who Principal Robin Wood in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will play the new chief of staff of President Palmer (played by Dennis Haysbert).

His character replaces Mike Novick (Jude Ciccolella), whom Palmer fired at the end of season two.

Also joining the cast is Zachary Quinto, who played Warlock in Charmed.
