Star Trek's Michael Dorn will be lending his voice to a character in the new animated series of Spider-Man.
The actor, famous for playing the Klingon Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and the Trek film series, will be providing the voice of Kraven the Hunter.
The series, which is due to start on 11th July on MTV in the US, features Neil Patrick Harris as Peter Parker/Spidey and singer Lisa Loeb as the long-suffering Mary Jane.
Rob Zombie stars as Lizard, with Virginia Madsen as Silver Sable and Michael Clarke Duncan as the Kingpin.
Dorn is no stranger to voicing animated roles, having leant his dulcet tones to Steel and Kalibak in Superman, Gorgon in Fantastic Four and Coldstone in Gargoyles.
In other comic-book adaptation news, it has been reported that the WB is producing a new Batman series. Batman Wired will apparently feature our caped-crusader in a new suit of armour. Expect lots of merchandise tie-ins, then.
