Premise: As part of an advertising campaign for a new apple-flavoured breakfast bar, PowerSauce, Homer agrees to climb the Murderhorn, Springfield's huge mountain that only Grampa has attempted before.
Features: Mr Burns, Smithers, Moe, Barney, Grampa, Jasper, Chief Wiggum, Lou, Eddie, Miss Hoover, Milhouse, Nelson, limbo, Sherri and Terri, Lewis, Ralph, Janey, Rev. Lovejoy, Helen Lovejoy, the Flanderses, Ruth Powers, Rainier Wolfcastle, Dr Hibbert, Don Tony, Android's Dungeon Guy, Apu.
Couch: The couch is inside a snowglobe that then gets shaken.
Trivia:
- Android's Dungeon Guy is reading Zebra Girl, a copy of which he once sold to Bart.
- Rainier is starring as McBane in another action movie, this one seeing McBane fight off aircraft as he delivers UNICEF parcels to starving children.
Homage: The Murderhorn is clearly inspired by the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps.
Notes: A quite charming little adventure in which, in an effort to impress Bart, Homer undertakes a dangerous adventure and comes through successfully. It's nice because just for once, to all intents and purposes, Homer actually succeeds in something.
