		Strange \| Episode Guide \| Pilot Plot summary

		When an elderly clergyman falls victim to a stroke in suspicious circumstances, defrocked Priest John Strange meets Nurse Jude Atkins, an ex-scientist, and persuades her to help solve the mystery. Soon Strange's tall tales of demonic activity are proved real when the old Reverend is found horrifically murdered. Hampering Strange's investigation is a figure from his past, the intimidating Canon Black, who is determined to suppress Strange's activity at every turn for his own mysterious reasons. As Jude struggles to reconcile her scientific training with the possibility that demons exist, she also copes with looking after her son Joey and the increasing pressure put on her by boyfriend Rich.
