That was in the first season. You discovered Mulder liked pornography. I think it was something that Chris Carter, Jim Long and Glen Morgan came up with. David and Gillian just had fun playing it. It was something that worked and was charming.

Gillian�s reaction to the pornography was humorous. She wasn�t shocked, she was like �I may be stiff and kind prim but I can joke with you about this!� It humanised both of them in a way.
