Accreditation for twinning teachers

Why get�accreditation?

"International linking requires effort and inspiration on the part of teachers," says Angie Cook, from the Cambridge Education Foundation. "Let's get that recognised!"

Angie is part of the consortium behind DFID Global School Partnerships scheme.��GSP want to help�teachers and schools to make the most of their international work.���Professional recognition help teachers and their senior management measure the value of school partnerships in terms of professional development.

How can teachers get their work recognised?

DFID Global School Partnerships are working with a large number of universities in the UK and overseas, to give teachers opportunities to use their global partnership work as the focus for a dissertation or report, alongside other studies specified by the university.

Who has received accreditation?

This is a brand new scheme.�

The first teacher to graduate will be Sharon Leftwich from Polesworth High School - next month!
