International School Awards

What are ISAs?

The International School Awards is an accreditation scheme for curriculum-based international work in schools.

ISAs offer a framework within which to develop international collaborative activity and co-ordinate global curriculum topics across the school.

Who can enter the ISAs?

It is open to all schools in the UK and recognises, celebrates and develops good practice in the international dimension in schools.

Since the scheme began in 1999, 670 ISAs have been presented to successful UK schools who have demonstrated the importance of the international dimension in their teaching and learning ethos.

What are the judges looking for?

The scheme has 3 levels from schools introducing or developing internationalism into their schools, to those who have integrated it into their curriculum.

Check out the ISAs - whether you are starting out in international work, or a school with years of experience.

You can register and apply for the first levels at anytime during the year, while deadlines for the Full International School Award are in April and July.
