Here's what you said about season three.

Caronne
Crikey, what a rollercoaster of a finish.

What makes the show so watchable is that it pushes the envelope in ways that Star Trek never has. More importantly, the crew of Moya are characters you care about, unlike some other sci-fi shows where the characters can be very two-dimensional.

Season three really put the crew through the ringer and has left Crichton exactly where he came in - on his own.

Evelyn Humphreys
Farscape has now evolved into an amazing watch - fast, witty, titilating.

The characters are now fully developed and have become believable within their incredible sci-fi world.

I personally think its great that in space you get to wear so much leather.

Once again I have been amazed, shocked, enthralled and felt myself closer to the characters in Farscape. I can't believe the group is splitting up! What a fabulous ending to the series.

I think season three has been brilliant, but also vastly different from the rest.

It certainly had a darker side to it than the other two seasons and throughout the focus seemed to be on the crew as a whole, rather than focusing on the backgrounds of individual characters. Many of the episodes did not end as expected and clever twists were incorporated, making originality a quality of the season.

I thought the Moya/Talyn split was a good idea, allowing various different storylines to happen all at once. The only downside to this was that the crew on Talyn had more episodes than the crew on Moya and had more interesting things to do.

I think season three belonged to Aeryn. We saw her develop so much emotionally only to have it all destroyed by the death of the John on Talyn. It was also the best season for Rygel, mainly due to the fact that he was part of the crew on Talyn. This time he has had more to do than anyone apart from John and Aeryn.

Poor Pilot got the shortest straw this season. He had no good episodes at all and only a few average ones. After Pilot and Aeryn became so close in season two, it was rather disappointing that they ignored each other for most of this series.

This season of Farscape was an example to all other sci-fi series on how to keep a series going so that the audience remains enthralled. The unexpected departure of Zhaan started an amazing ride which has still not ended. I thought that the climax of season two would be hard to beat, but they did it with a superb cliffhanger.

The suspense throughout the series has, thankfully, been mixed with a degree of comedy, and the way in which the crew was split into one serious group and one comedic group and then reunited for the final battle was superb.

Not until this season was about half way through did I start to really enjoy it, but in retrospect I can see it was about experimenting and it worked. As a whole, I feel this season has been the best, finishing with a gripping cliffhanger. I don't know if I can wait until season four is shown, I may crack.

Phil Merchant
Season three is my favourite season so far, for one reason - Scorpius.

He is without doubt the best villain in any sci-fi programme I have ever seen. He is mysterious, calm, intelligent and very ambiguous. Everything he does is to suit his own purposes, so you have no idea what he will do next.

Even though he quite obviously survives, I was sad to see the consequences of the command carrier's destruction - he will no longer be the focus of Farscape. The only solace I will have is in the clone in Crichton's mind who, in fact, is quite an amusing character.

Season three gave us more excitement as the story continues, a deeper plot and more insight in the characters.

More and more are we being driven to taking in each moment of an episode and having to use our mind to the fullest to be able to understand the complete picture. But still it stays entertaining enough to just watch and enjoy.

Also, we find a much larger story scattered over multiple episodes, making it to hard to miss even one episode. You would downright kill yourself if you did.

Marcase
Oh man, I frellin' dislike mister D-K(emper); leaving me cold turkey with this kind of cliffhanger.

After the Lion's Den two-parter, I thought he's got a nice "closure" episode as the season finale. Boy, was I bouncing off the walls after Dog With Two Bones.

I thought it was very well acted with Crichton's emotions rollercoasting all over the place, and when I thought he had made peace with fate, Dave Kemper megabombed us with a plethora of plots and possibilities, opening up new doors in the Farscape universe never before imagined.

If there is one strength in Farscape, it is the emotional conflict between John Crichton and Aeryn Sun, which was played to the hilt here.
