Grace Jones

Grace Jones

Grace Jones

Grace has it all, part-time model, Rock Singer, Actress, ever-changing images, few would argue that she is one of the most outrageous performers on the planet.

Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, she first appeared as a disco diva before becoming a gay icon. Grace then joined forces with Sly and Robbie taking reggae music to an avant guarde level with songs such as La Vie en Rose, Nightclubbin' and My Jamaican Guy.

An acting career followed in Conan the Destroyer as Zulu and subsequently as James Bond baddie May Day in "A View to Kill".

Her androgynous assertive image has made her an inspiration to both women and men. There is no-one quite like Grace Jones.
