Bob Marley

Robert Nesta Marley was a legend, a national hero, an inspirational leader, and probably the one person whose talent put Jamaica on the musical world map.

From his early roots in the ghettoes of Trenchtown, Marley was destined to represent the new order of music.

In the 70's he created, along with The Wailers, a new sound that popularised Reggae for the international audience. In his short lived 36 years, Bob Marley achieved so much. With countless hits including One Love, Redemption Song, Exodus and No Woman No Cry, he became an icon for his people, putting reggae on a equal par with other music worldwide, while most of all remaining true to his roots.
