With the police security tightened outside, inside the "Presidential Suite," a semi-conscious Rolf Pedersen watches Mary and the Antubis team up to keep Paul from killing Peter Rickman. As Mary and Antubis retreat into Kingdom's bowels, the site of the old Gottreich Hospital, Nurse Carrie Von Trier tells Natalie Rickman that her husband woke briefly and mentioned a little girl.
As Hook tells Natalie about Mrs. Druse, at the rescue mission across the street, a brain tumor lands a delusional Frank Schweigen at the Kingdom. And as Mary watches from the doorway, Stegman sets about using the indigent patient to hone his own surgical skills.
As resident Sonny Gupta looks on, Stegman forges ahead with the risky operation. When Schweigen briefly revives and attempts to leave, Stegman simply orders him to be medicated again. And after trying to alert everyone to Mary's presence, Schweigen passes away, leaving the startled surgical staff questioning Dr. Stegman's ethics. Meanwhile, Hook offers to take Chris to see the hospital that's buried beneath the Kingdom.
After giving Chris a look at the surplus materials stashed in the old hospital, Hook takes her to the room he calls home where, over drinks, he shows her the model graveyard he uses to keep track of his colleagues' mistakes. Upstairs, Natalie continues watching over her ailing husband as Mark tells Elmer Traff about his uncanny resemblance to the recently deceased Schweigen.
Finally, as Hook decides that the time has come to begin distributing the valuable and much-needed supplies hidden in the hospital basement, Paul catches the Antubis off guard before warning Peter that his time will soon come, too.
