Premise: Homer gets hooked up to cable TV for $50 - '1600 hours of quality programming every day!' Lisa's not happy - will cable piracy send the Simpsons to hell?

Notes for the Uneducated: Lisa's non-violent protest is reminiscent of Mahatma Gandhi's protests against the British occupation of India, during which, just like Lisa, he would drink only lemonade. 'Gentleman Jim' Corbett (1866-1933) was the first heavyweight boxing champion under the Queensberry Rules. The fight remembered by Mr Burns took place in 1897! 'Hear Me Roar' is a reference to a line in the chorus of Helen Reddy's hit 'I Am Woman'.
