Premise: Bart tries to discover if water does go clockwise in the southern hemisphere and in doing so destroys good relations between the US and Australia. The Australians demand that he flies down under to apologise - and face the revenge of a boot up the butt.

Couch: The mer-Simpsons swim underwater to the sofa.

Trivia:

• The South 0'the Equator Gift Shoppe has a sign that reads Pedro sez 'Gets High Koala-T!' and a baseball cap which claims Pobody's Nerfect in Australia.
• The Parliament building is actually the Parliment-Haus der Austria, with an extra al scribbled in.

Homage: Crocodile Dundee - the 'now this is a knife' sequence is used again. Yahoo Serious was the Australian star and director of Young Einstein (1991).

Look out for: The slide show given by Conover to show that America lost interest in everything Australian after Crocodile Dundee's run had finished.

Notes: Best if watched with Australians who will be, perhaps understandably, aggrieved at their portrayal. After the attack on the French, this is a vicious, unkind, offensive and wonderfully amusing slaughter of Australian culture by the makers of The Simpsons.
