Premise: Three more tawdry tales. In The Shinning, the Simpsons move into a house possessed by ... something; Time And Punishment sees Homer travel back in time and accidentally creates a nightmare world for himself when he returns - a world controlled by Flanders. And in Nightmare Cafeteria Bart finds a new item on Lunchlady Doris's menu - the kids.

Couch: The undead, disfigured Simpsons rush in.

Tombstones: Amusing Tombstones.

Homage: It's the turn of The Outer Limits to receive the Treehouse of Horror treatment. There are also references to The Shining (the entire first segment is an affectionate parody), Terminator 2, and Jurassic Park. The reference to Brazilian time-travellers is bizarre - we draw a blank.

Mmmmm: ...fuzzy.
