Episode 3F11
Written by Jennifer Crittenden
Directed by Susie Dietter
Also starring: Pamela Hayden, Tress MacNeille, Maggie Roswell

Premise: Marge buys a Chanel suit - knocked down to $90 from $2800 - and gets an invite to join the career women of the Springfield Glen Country Club - Proud Home of the Tippling Gadabout. And where Homer can practise his golf.
Features: Bumblebee Man, Grampa, Cletus, Apu, Mr Burns, Krusty, Kent Brockman, Lenny, Carl, Mr Burns, Smithers, Patty and Selma, Spotty Boy.
Couch: The Simpsons rush in, into eerie darkness.
Homage: The title refers to Scenes from the Class Struggle in
Beverly Hills (Paul Bartel, 1989).
Mmmmm: ...open-based club sandwich.
That's Homer Simpson, sir: 'One of your fork and spoon operators from Sector 7G.'
Notes: Marge looks great in her Chanel, the golf scenes between Homer and Mr Burns are brilliant, and there are many true, touching moments as Marge struggles valiantly to improve herself. Yet again, it's tempting for the viewer to urge Marge on and get the hell away from the family.
