Features: Android's Dungeon Guy, Milhouse, Jimbo, Krusty, Kent Brockman, Spotty Boy, Moleman, Patty and Selma, Jasper, Principal Skinner, Mrs Skinner, Superintendent Chalmers, Chief Wiggum, Troy McClure, Sideshow Mel, Dr Hibbert, Captain MacAllister.
Couch: A colour photocopy of the Simpsons slips on to the sofa.
Trivia:
- All Krusty's Sideshows but Bob turn up to his funeral (including Sideshow Luke Perry).
Hi, I'm Troy McClure, you may remember me from: Such showbiz funerals as Andre the Giant, We Hardly Knew Ye and Shemp Howard, Today We Mourn a Stooge.
Notes for Brits: The sign on the side of the bus reading 'Are you missing "Mad About You" right now? NBC TV Sundays at 8' is a direct reference to the sitcom slotted opposite The Simpsons during this season.
Notes: 'What good is respect without the moolah to back it up?' Very fast and very good, with plenty of gags and effective set pieces. Bob Newhart's eulogy to Krusty is especially memorable.
