Premise: Lisa is earning herself a good reputation as a reliable babysitter, until she has to look after a vengeful Bart when Marge and Homer visit the new, late-night shopping mall built at the old harbour.

Lovejoy, Helen Lovejoy, Jasper, Principal Skinner, Lunchlady Doris, the Flanderses, Chief Wiggum, Ralph, Dr Hibbert, Mayor Quimby, Snake, Herman, Nelson Muntz, Martin Prince, Rainier Wolfcastle, Hans Moleman, Moe, Barney, Smithers, Dr John Frink, Android's Dungeon Guy, Dr Nick, Apu, Ms Krabappel, Lenny, Otto, Sideshow Mel.

Couch: The Simpsons are swept away by a crashing wave and only the television set survives.

Trivia:

  • Lisa reads The Babysitter's Club book #14 - The Formula Formula, while Janey is on book #20 - The President's Baby Is Missing.
  • Among the shops at Squidport are Turban Outfitters, Just Rainsticks, It's A Wonderful Knife, My 1st Tattoo, Much Ado About Muffins (to eat or not to eat), Crypto Barn, Itchy and Scratchy Store (Poochie Close-Out), Malaria Zone, Bloaters and Planet Hype, a restaurant owned by Rainier Wolfcastle.
  • Dr Hibbert's surgery number is 555-3642, while Dr Nick Riviera, based at 44 Bow Street, is on 555-NICK (We Stitch and Don't Snitch).

Look out for: Homer trapped by the fountain. Maggie high on too much caffeine.

Notes: A clever episode, if a little disjointed - the two stories don't gel as well as normal.
