Pick a vamp, any vamp:
Blade

Half-human and half-vampire, Blade is feared by full-blooded vampires as the Daywalker - one with vampire strength and skills but the ability to stand sunlight.

His quest to rid the world of vampires makes him a driven man, but that doesn't mean he hasn't got time for style: he's one cool character with long leather coat, spiffy motorbike and shiny samurai sword.

Blade was created when a vampire bit his mother as he lay in the womb. Saved by mentor Whistler as a child, Blade fights to quell his vampire hunger, and revenge his mother, but doesn't always succeed. Points for trying, though.

Originally a Marvel comic, Blade was adapted into a film starrring Wesley Snipes in 1998, followed by a sequel in 2002. Cue much bloody high-octane excitement.

Fear rating
If you're a vampire, you'd better watch out. Average Joes have nothing to fear, though. 4/10

Blood factor
Blade tries to resist his urges, but every now and then a drop of the ruby red is what hits the spot. Low. 3/10

Cuddliness quotient
Don't touch the coat, man! This dressy daywalker is for looking at, not touching. 2/10

Sexy beast?
He's got the moves, he's got the bling and he's got the sexy lip action going on. High. 8/10
