Serenger

"This is Rex Serenger who runs the eponymous village shop in Bampton. The man on his left is Stanley who operates the petrol pumps. This is where we used to buy our sweets as children. Rex showed me an old framed photo of his father outside the shop and I was struck by how little the exterior of the shop had changed - we decided to recreate his photograph using available light and de-saturating the image in Pphotoshop making it monochrome. By this time it was dusk so I used a tripod and a fast ASA setting." (Harry Borden)
