RealMedia: The Queen wows Italy with her fashion sense

The Queen's Outfits

She may not appear the most obvious fashion icon - more M&S than D&G - but The Queen's style and grace have wowed fans across the world.

Crisp lines and formal elegance define the monarch's dress. Pastel shades and daring blocks of colour are her trademark.

Perhaps M&S could sign her up alongside 'Becks' to promote their next fashion line. If The Queen modelling the latest gear doesn't pull in the crowds nothing will.

The most important of the Queen's clothes - her Coronation Robes - are on public display in the Tower of London.

There is also a collection of dresses at Kensington Palace which Her Majesty wore, including gowns designed by Sir Norman Hartnell, Sir Hardy Amies and Ian Thomas.
