From warm-hearted tributes like Alistair McGowan's spoof of the hit TV comedy The Royle Family - in which he replaces the working class Mancunian characters with 'real' Royals - to the caustic satire of Spitting Image.

If the Windsor's didn't have thick skins before these shows aired they must have developed them pretty fast!
