Three bored and mischevious pensioners while away their retirement in a series of childish pranks.
The original trio were:
Tramp-like Compo who was always after a little romance with the saggy Nora Batty
Norman �Cleggy� Clegg.
Former Royal Signals Sergeant Blamire who was later replaced by another ex-army man, Foggy Dewhurst.
Over the years the local women have tried to keep the men in check, in particular the formidable Nora Batty with her wrinkled stockings. The series has become one of British television�s longest running comedies.
