They were a marketing dream. Two good-looking Aussies known by everyone under 25 from their roles in Neighbours.

With the help of British producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman they occupied the UK charts for practically the whole of 1989.

Then Jason went off to become Joseph in the West End and grow old.

Kylie remained 18 forever and continues to make hit records well into the 21st century.
