Premise: Competition between Lisa and Bart takes on extraordinary proportions when Apu discovers that Lisa makes an excellent ice hockey goalie. Trouble is, Bart plays for the other team.

Homage: Rollerball (Norman Jewison, 1975) provides some inspiration here.

Look out for: The volleyball deflated by Lisa's hair; Edna's alphabetical homework call, with which she traps Bart at 'B'.

Notes: A fabulous episode for Lisa and Bart, although with a special mention for a few seconds of tremendous Edna Krabappel wickedness.
