Strong female roles in the Trek universe

It�s almost unheard of to have so many strong women on a TV series, and I think that�s what made Voyager stand out is that you do. You have the Captain, who�s a woman, you have the Chief Engineer who�s a woman, you have Seven of Nine. They�re all very intelligent, very strong, very self sufficient. That was a real joy to walk into.
