Sunnydale's swimming team celebrates another victory with a party
on the beach. Buffy is chatted up by one of the team, Cameron, and
prevents another from harassing another student. Later Cameron makes
unwanted advances, and Buffy breaks his nose! One by one the swim
team begin turning up dead, eviscerated. Xander joins the team, working
under cover, while Willow and the others question likely suspects.
After initially believing that a race of gilled sea creatures have
been attacking the swimmers, Buffy discovers that the team members
are actually being transformed into the monsters, due to the experimental
Soviet steroids being given to them by their coach, Marin. Buffy confronts
Marin, who is attacked and eaten by his prot�g�es. The remaining creatures
disappear into the ocean.
