One Foot in the Grave (1990)

The clip should play automatically after a few seconds. If not, click here.

Scottish character actor Richard Wilson brought grumpy old so and so Victor Meldrew to life from 1990 up until November 2000. The theme song for the series was co-written and sung by former Python, Eric Idle. Bill Cosby apparently played the role of Victor Meldrew in the American version of the show which was renamed 'Grumpy Old Dead Tortoise' (only joking).

After the final episode where Victor died in a car accident, members of the general public started laying flowers at Shawford Railway Station where the final scenes were filmed!
