Week Eight

Apologies

Hi everyone. Sorry to have to step in and apologise, but Tamara hasn't posted her daily weblog today.

We weren't quite sure what to make of her slightly fanciful recent entries and message board posts, but we've been unable to contact her over the weekend.

One of my colleagues has been to check on her, but reports that she appear to have left (or been taken) in something of a hurry. We're naturally quite concerned, but hope she will get in touch with us soon.

I will keep you posted if and when I find out more.

Rob F.

Moving on

It's been four long months since the disappearance of Tamara Swift. Despite the best efforts of the authorities, we have been unable to locate her, or find any clues as to her whereabouts.

Could it be that she actually is the original Tamara from the 19th Century, as she claims?

Before the events of May 2003, Tamara had been working closely with us to prepare the next phase of her family's history - a short story written in late 1838 or early 1839 entitled Astray that she claimed was based on actual events.

After much deliberation, we feel that Tamara would have wanted us to continue with her work in her absence. Therefore, we today launch the first of Astray's eight chapters in both streaming audio and illustrated text versions.

A new chapter will be added each Thursday.

We hope that you will enjoy this tale, and that good news regarding Tamara's whereabouts will soon be forthcoming.

Rob F.
