Three Quarter sleeves

Three Quarter Length Sleeves

Before 1962, sleeves were available in any length as long as it was long or short. Then some crazy fool, probably off their head, decided to split the difference and invented the Three Quarter Length sleeve.

The sleeve now ended halfway down the forearm and proved that once ladies were allowed to wear trousers, fashion anarchy was just around the corner.

Like all great fashion developments, there was no real call for the three quarter length sleeve, it just hadn't been done before and before you knew it women were baring their wrists but keeping their elbows under wraps.
