RealMedia: Hear the Rainbow theme

Rainbow

ITV's answer to the popular BBC TV series Play School and the American Sesame Street - broadcast in the UK by ITV - and was launched as part of a new package of day time programmes.

The Rainbow theme tune and other numbers were provided by the inimitable trio: Rod, Jane & Freddy (and later Matthew Corbett of Sooty fame).

Film star Jeremy Irons started his career here, singing songs about happy clouds, while Geoffrey and the puppets educated and entertained with games and animation. They managed to survive until the mid 1980s.
