A tower in flames

The Towering Inferno

High drama and suspense as a San Francisco skyscraper bursts into flames during its official opening ceremony.

Brimming with stars such as Faye Dunaway, Fred Astaire, William Holden, O.J. Simpson, Robert Vaughan, and Paul Newman. Its Steve McQueen, the daring fire chief though, who plays the role as daring hero and fire extinguisher.

It took two major film studios and two novels (The Tower and The Glass Inferno) to make this triple-Oscar winning hit. Amazing special effects, eccentric rescue plans and plenty of fire ensures no nodding-off.
