RealMedia: Memories of It Ain't Half Hot Mum

It Aint Half Hot Mum

Based in India during the Second World War, it focused on the exploits of the Royal Artillery Concert Party as they entertained the active men.

The entertainers included the drag artist Bombardier Beaumont (known to all as Gloria), intellectual pianist Mr. Lah-de-Da Gunner Graham, vocalist Gunner Lofty Sugden and others.

Very camp comedy with Sergeant Major Williams (Old Shut Up as they called him) keeping everyone in check.
