In the wake of the success of the Superman film , ITV launched its own
quest to find the cleverest, fittest, and most dextrous Briton.
Gordon Burns hosted the contest, which involved completing oversized
jigsaws, playing a grown-up version of 'I spy', and -
the highlight for most viewers - hurtling across an army assault
course, Gladiators-style.
