1992 was the year that Kriss Kross got to No. 2 in the UK charts
with the catchy pop rap summer hit Jump!
The boys, who can't have been much older than 10 at the time, made
a statement by wearing all their clothes back to front - except
perhaps their shoes
What the statement meant wasn't all that obvious but it was hugely
popular.
This was also the year in which Calvin Klein launched a hugely
successful campaign that featured pop-star turned model Mark Wahlberg,
wearing CK underwear with incredibly low-slung jeans. A look that
even today remains popular particularly in the hip hop world.
