Walter Koenig

As Chekov in the original series, Walter Koenig was brought in to give the show some teen-appeal. Some say this was because of his resemblance to one of the Monkees. His role was groundbreaking, as the political climate at the time of TOS was.. well, a wee bit anti-Commie.
