Whats it like working on a feature film compared to a TV series?
What we always say about the TV shows is they have a feature quality. Guest actors are always amazed when they walk on to the sets of a Star Trek set because everything is there; the walls, floors, ceiling, the window to space, through which you see space. The actor doesnt really have to imagine it, its there.
If theres a door open and theres a room next door, theres a room there. It a level of quality that you seldom get outside of a feature. Most television companies dont go to that trouble. Paramount have very kindly allowed us to spend what it takes to make these shows really look good.
