PLOT
Moya stumbles into a barricade of Peacekeeper mines around a planet thought not to be Peacekeeper. It isn't, and Zhaan and the rest are able to negotiate free passage through the system � until Rygel interferes.
The crew do need supplies, but Councillor Tyno will not allow trade while his system's royal coronation is underway. Rygel stands as tall as he can, telling the Councillor that he is royalty too. The crew are allowed to land.
They need to get off Moya because, while Chiana and D'Argo are in the early throes of being a passionate couple, Aeryn and Crichton are arguing. Zhaan chooses to stay on Moya just for the peace.
On the Royal Planet, Crichton feels things are looking up for once as endless alien women demand to kiss him. It's not personal: the whole population seems to be kissing one another and it's a chemical test to determine who is genetically compatible with who.
Each person takes the smallest drop of a liquid and then kisses. If the taste is sweet, they're a match. Unfortunately, on the verge of the coronation, Crichton becomes the only male who hasn't kissed Princess Katralla. Her DNA has been poisoned by her brother to make certain she fails to be compatible with anyone and must therefore default the throne to him.
However the poison turns her DNA away from her own Sebecan race and, it would seem, rather closer to humans for she and Crichton are a match.
With an entire society pressurising Crichton to propose to her, it's not a good time for Scorpius to finally catch up with Moya � or for Zhaan to try leading him away by starburst.
