Man from UNCLE

UNCLE

For four years The Man From UNCLE made teenagers dream of becoming spies when they grew up, as they watched the adventures of their heroes Illya Kuryakin and Napoleon Solo.

UNCLE is said to stand for the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, which basically means a pair of spies who travel around the world saving us all from terrorist attacks.

These attacks usually came from the big bad THRUSH organization who seemed to follow our 'goodies' wherever they went. UNCLE were not always chasing weapons either. No, their skills were used to overcome trained killer bees, radar-defeating bats and hiccup gas, amongst others.

After four years of popularity the show ended and, just to flog a dead horse, some big wigs decided they would launch The Girl From UNCLE, which was a big flop. After all, you can put up with watching the guys battling THRUSH, but to see a lady suffering because of it? No thanks.
