In 1975 Womble mania continued to grip Britain but
no longer with human-sized singing Wombles or the television programme
but with toy Wombles.
There were cuddly Wombles, bendy plastic Wombles, edible Wombles,
Wombles bins, Wombles jumpers�the list went on and on. You could
also collect your pennies in a Womble money box.
