Kermit the Frog

"The Muppets"

Jim Hensons puppet creations moved from "Sesame Street" to the music hall to present a weekly vaudeville show, complete with star turns from the likes of Bob Dylan, Roger Moore and John Cleese.

The anarchic home of classics "Pigs in Space" and "Veterinarians Hospital" was held together by loveable compere Kermit the frog and his prima donna girlfriend Miss Piggy.

The show spawned a series of movies and albums, as well as the singles "Its Not Easy Being Green", and "Halfway up the Stairs", sung by Kermit and his nephew Robin.
