RealMedia: Swapshop Titles

"Multi-Coloured Swap Shop"

A televised return to the medieval barter system as children of all ages attempted to trade in their soiled Action Man for a brand new Chopper.

"Swap Shop" was the BBCs answer to Chris Tarrants anarchic Saturday morning kids show "TISWAS", which had ruled the ratings for two years.

Hosted by young bearded Noel Edmonds and Keith "Cheggers" Chegwin, "Swap Shop" was meant to run for six weeks but ended up lasting for six years.

Noel finally handed over the baton to Mike Read and "Saturday Superstore".
