Not as fast, nor as exciting as Scalextric, but kids still got a thrill
out of derailing the trains with pieces of household furniture or
running over the Lego passengers.
Engines ran at a snail's pace along blue plastic rails, which you
could build into smooth curves, tight curves, level crossings, points
and junctions.
It wasn't quite Hornby, but it was still one of the most popular
toys of the year.
