Harrison Ford

Blade Runner

Arguably the greatest sci fi movie ever made, this thiller is about human-like androids known as replicants, based on a Philip K Dick story.

Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is a retired Los Angeles cop who is forced back into active duty to catch a quartet of escaped replicants. The androids head to earth (from their off-world colony) and kill a number of humans on the way.

The big, unaswered question was "Is Deckard a Replicant, too?".

Set in a futuristic Los Angeles, which looked like Tokyo on steroids, its design still influences films today. In 1992 director Ridley Scott released a director's cut that dropped Ford's voice-over and the happy ending that the studio insisted on. It's even better than the original.
