Johnny Depp starred as the manufactured man with scissors for
hands in this modern-day fairytale, which explored society's prejudices
and fears of deformity.
Director Tim Burton's stunning visuals made the film a cult hit,
and ultra-cool Depp's performance as the man who cannot touch the
things he loves, ensured its commercial success.
The film is also notable for a cameo by horror veteran Vincent
Price.
