In
1995, Britain fell in love with the inhabitants of the imaginary
Irish parish of Craggy Island, and its collection of dysfunctional
priests.
Scheming
Father Ted (Dermot Morgan), simple Father Dougal (Ardal O'Hanlon)
and Drunken Father Jack (Frank Kelly) were looked after by faintly
psychotic housekeeper Mrs Doyle (Pauline McLynn) in the simple yet
often surreal family comedy.
Music was provided by the Divine Comedy's Neil
Hannon.
Sadly, actor Dermot Morgan died of a heart attack at the end of
the third series.
