Henna Tattoo
VIDEO CLIP:
RealMedia: Henna Tattoos

Body Art

For the less daring experimental youngsters Henna tattoos were a god-send. They could pretend to their heart's content that the little butterfly on the shoulder blade or the Celtic band at the top of their arm was real - without getting told off by Mother.

Indian cultural rip-off, the Bindhi, also became popular to make you stand out from the crowd. It didn't work so well if you actually lived in India! This forehead jewellery at one time was worn only by India's religious priests.

They are now sported by the likes of Madonna and Gwen Stefani, often offending the East.
