Blake's 7 DVD

Season one out on DVD - no, really.

We know it's hard to believe but ithe Blake's 7 season one DVD collection is now out.

Scheduled and postponed more often than Servalan changes outfits, we never thought we'd see Blake find The Way Back.

BBC Worldwide have finally put disc problems, or whatever the reason was, behind them and have released the entire first series on DVD.

Featuring all thirteen episodes, spread over five discs, the set gives you the chance to see Terry Nation's vision of the future – and yes it does feature downtrodden slave workers, someone called Tarrant, a girl called Rebecca and dangerous forests.

The release also features the following extras:

  • Commentary tracks from Michael Keating, Sally Knyvette, Jacqueline Pearce, Stephen Greif and David Maloney
  • Two outtakes
  • Blue Peter – Lesley Judd makes a teleport bracelet
  • Trailer for season two
  • Easter eggs
